More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Full details about the campaign can be found Scientology here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
